PMETAL-40X60 Metal Baler

The 40x60 Metal Scrap Baler is designed for metal recycling plants, scrap collection centres and businesses that process production scrap. It compresses scrap metal, aluminium, sheet metal offcuts, profile pieces and similar materials into 400 × 600 mm bales weighing about 100 kg. Uniform bales take up less storage space and make shipping more economical.

The 85 t main cylinder and the 65 t top cover cylinder compress bulky, loose scrap to a high density. A spacious chamber measuring 600 × 550 × 1300 mm allows scrap of different shapes to be loaded easily. Blades made of 2379-grade steel, usable on all four edges of the chamber, deliver strong cutting and compression performance.

The body is made of ST37 steel, with 60 mm material in the main body and 30 mm plate in the body structure. A 22 kW electric motor, 200 bar working pressure, a 70-litre vane pump and a 400-litre oil tank provide steady performance under a heavy workload; the no-load cycle time is about 80 seconds. The remote-controlled, PLC-based operating system helps the operator run the machine safely and in a controlled way.
