PTYY30
Overview
The PTYY30 is a semi-automatic horizontal baler that compacts recyclable waste such as paper and plastic film into bales. With a press force of 30 t and a working pressure of 250 bar, it produces bales of 300–350 kg from paper and 350–400 kg from plastic film.
Material is fed through a 750 × 1000 × 850 mm feed hopper, and each finished bale is tied by hand with three rows of wire. The theoretical cycle time is 55–60 seconds. The hydraulic system uses an 11 kW electric motor, a HEMA gear pump and BASE valves, with an oil tank capacity of 200 litres.
The machine is built with ST-52 and ST-37 grade steel plate, and the hydraulic cylinder tube is ST 52 grade steel. ABB safety switches are fitted at several points on the machine to protect the operator. The machine weighs about 3 tonnes and runs on a 380 V supply.
